It is Bombshell Blog Hop Time. And this time we are celebrating HOLIDAY HOOPLA!  Alright, I will admit, I went a little bit standard here, and made mine Christmas. Goddess Alison also challenged us to make something NOT a card... hmmmm OK... I can do that.
I colored the GORGEOUS Pirate Lady up in elfen clothing. She is colored in shades of red and green and her bodice is covered in white flower soft. Her belt and boots have been covered in Glossy Accents.  I cut her out and glued her to a White candle and wrapped it with this gorgeous red beaded ribbon.

Thank you so much for joining us on the hop. If you got here through some other means then run back to the Bombshell Blog and the full list is provided.

Speed Demon!

Hello and welcome to todays post. I am a little slow on the upload today, since I had to work last inght... so sorry!

Ms. September's challenge over at Bombshell stamps was the theme of Speed, with a little extra tweak of Red thrown in. Well of course I had to use the wonderful King of the Road stamp set and come up with this card.

I LOVE the Asleep at the Wheel song "Hot Rod Lincoln" and honestly I do not know what kind of car this is, but I loved coloring it up. I used R12, 24, 27, 29, 39 and feathered that into YR02 and 07. I added a lot of spica glittery stuff to it at the end. It was fun. I cut out the car, and I printed the lyrics on a piece of vellum. I layered it... and added in the car on top.

Now, you should check out the challenge over on the Bombshell stamps forum and on the Bombshell Stamps blog. You have a chance to win free stuff! And we all love FREE! Ok at least a statistically significant portion of the world loves Free!

Have a great week and I hope to see you again soon!

Puttin on the Costumes!!!

Hey there all! Welcome to the Ghoulishly divine Bombshell new release Blog Hop. YES! Isn't it wonderful??? All new eerie costumes for our favorite ladies. You should have arrived here from the Bombshell Blog. If you didn't - well LUCKY YOU - I am the first on the hop... HEE HEE. Well lets start this off with my first devilish creation - The Bombshell Bride of Frankenstein.

I followed the September Bombshell sketch and I colored her up with Warm Greys (W00, 1, 3, 4) and then went over it with a bit of YG0000 to give her a little green glow. Her couiffure is colored up with Cool greys starting with C0, and working up to C7. I then went over it with W00 to make it a little toned down and more matching her skin color. Her blush is V91.   Her dress was colored with V91, 93, 95, 99. I love this color set.

The paper is Basic Grey!!! I cut the Sentiment out, and used the W00, W1 and YG0000 to make it more closely match the paper colors.

I cannot look at this image without thinking of "Young Frankenstein" and Madeline Khan!!! I adore her! "Sweet Mystery of Life at last I Found You!"  :-) And that leads me to the "Puttin on the Ritz" song from that movie and my next card to share with you! I now present Bombshell Angel Puttin on the Glitz!

Isn't this costume just Fantabulous!!!! What I love love love about this, is it isn't just a Halloween costume moment. It can be used for so many different things.

I colored her up with Cool Greys (from C1 through C9) and the reds are R22, 24, 27, 29 and 39. Her skin is E000, 00, 11 (for the hose I added a bit of C3 over her colored legs) and her hair is E23, 25, 27, 29. I added a TOUCH of BV00 and BV01 to her eyes for a little shadow. After I had her colored up and cut out, I added glossy elements to her boots, hat and her sleeves. You can see the reflection of the white on her sleeves in the close up below. For a final touch I made these rolled flowers from a die cut I had and then added some BLING to her.

Now that I have totally shown off these two ladies, you should continue along on the hop and check out the next set of beauties. Halloween is many of the Bombshell's favorite holiday... and we are SOOOOo excited to show these off.  Next on your journey is ALISON who ADORES Halloween, and has a WICKED sense of style! Thank you for stopping by, and I hope to see you again soon!

Drink Up

Hey there ladies. It is that time of the month again when we are all challenged by our lovely Bombshell Sketch Goddess to create a project following her sketch.

This month she has given us this sketch. Now, I really liked this sketch and I came up with two cards following it. The first I am showing you today... the second one... well it is a bit of a surprise, but it is so GHOUL!

I used Man's Ruin and some lovely colors to create this lovely lady:

I will be honest... I REALLY love the skin colors on her. I am not sure why, but it worked so well.  I used the following colors to color her up:

For the glass and liquid, I colored the lady and her dress up, and then I colored the glass. I went BG01 around the edges and BG000 and BG0000 inside. I colored over her dress and legs. Then I took the YG11, and went over it from a little inside the glass to the other edge, again over the lady and her skirt. I colored this up to the edge of the liquid line up top.  Once she was colored up, I cut her out and then added glossy accents over the glass. I cut a piece of the green cardstock out with a nestie and then sponged purple over it. The lady was adhered to the cut out.

Now... I have been a slacker with this lately. We have started school and already had a nasty bout of strep in our house. Add that to a dance competition this past weekend, and work and home and and and... well.. I have been a slacked with the cars. But I have been a bit creative over the past couple of days and I  am really excited to be uploading and doing stuff again. So I hope you come back this weekend for some more cards, and then next week is the September Bombshell's theme challenge over at the Bombshells blog followed by a blog hop the next week. WHEW! Lots of stuff going on.

Why don't you head on over to the Bombshell blog and check out the rest of the crews stuff this week. You know you want to!
