If You Want My Body

It is Retro time over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge.  I have this wonderful DCWV Paper Stack that reminds me of some wallpaper that we had in a house when I was in college. It had this gold and brown foil wallpaper on the walls that was at least 15 years old in style.  So when I looked at the Kenny K images I have, this one just was perfection.

I colored him up with Copics. I couldn't decide whether he should wear the gold or blue, but the gold looked funny, so I opted for the blue leisure suit look. I cut out the image I had started coloring gold and used some stencil glue on the back of it to make it sticky. I then placed it over this fella, and airbrushed. A little bit of speckling snuck under the mask because the stencil glue is so light. I kond of like how it turned out though, because it makes it look more like night.

A note about the coloring. For his glasses I used B0000 and RV000 feathered together to give it a rose colored glasses look. When I was done, I used Crystal Effects and shined up his glasses, disco ball and shoes.
