Yellow and Blue make GREEN

At least that is what I learned from Ziploc bags and the blue toilet bowl cleaner.

This is my entry into the Flourishes release week challenge. The challenge was to pick three things - one from each category...  First the sketch - Which I chose 1 of 3 but I turned it on its side. The second was a color palette - and I chose the third in that category which is the green part (more on the toilet water color later). Then the third was to choose an embellie - I chose buttons.

So - I chose one of the initial stamps. I colored it with Y00, 11, 15, 19 and YG21, 23, 25.  I cut out with some Cherry Lynne Dies the main image. The  paper I used is DCWV Lemon Flower.

Now... Here comes the ziploc creation. I took a class on Distress Inks on Saturday. And I have a whopping 6 ink pads - none of which meet the criteria of green. But I do have Tumbled Glass and Wild Honey. Ooooooo... it made a really pretty greenish shade with a mottled look. WOO HOO. You can see it better on the close up here:
Now that being said  - Crossing my fingers and good luck to everyone else.

Have a great day!
