I've Altered my Mind!

Welcome to the Two-For Tuesday Blog Hop! The Bombshell Girls and Pin-ups are thrilled to join forces with Altered Pages Artsociates to hold a huge blog hop that showcases Bombshell Stamps together with digital backgrounds from Altered Pages.

Here is my creation for this fun little hop:

I used Pharmacy Labels from Altered Pages, and Man's Ruin from Bombshell Stamps. Once I had the lovely lady colored, I printed the labels out and cut them out individually. I then mod-podged them to a wooden block (FYI... at this point the wood block was WHITE).  Once they had dried and I trimmed them up... I added my little martini girl on top and mod-podged her on. Once SHE was dryish... I added some distress inks all around. I used different techniques... I sponged it, wiped it, swiped it, dabbed it, rubbed it... Really... I used about every technique to add this Antique Linen ink... Once done I then set it with Super Seal... yeah... that beaded it up so I dabbed that... The end result is above. WHEW... Now  my house smells like Mod podge and Super Seal. WHEW... I guess there are worse smells. ;-)

Now... here are all the deets on the sponsors and the different items up for grabs on this here hop.

  6. Love all the details - and the background is fab! Being on a wooden base really gives the piece some 'heft' that work done on chipboard will never have.

Coloring on your martini girl is marvelous - and she's certainly an inviting vixen! LOL

    Really enjoyed your piece!
