If you saw my previous post, I have made a bunch of Christmas cards for Outlines Rubber Stamps. Well, this is the grouping I made using the same paper line and several stamps from Outlines. The bag is discussed in my previous post.
The card is using the Large Vixen Stamp. In this one, I used the C family of greys, and the BG72 to do the horns, E31, 33, 35 for the deer itself. R24, 27, 29 for the reds. I used the same SEI Winter Song "My Wooly Scarf" paper that I used on the Bag. In addition to cutting coordinating squares for the upper right and bottom left corner, I also stamped the Happy and the Holiday in the other corners on this paper. Silver and Red stickles were added to the stars, and the horns to add some bling.
The last piece of this set is the little red gift box. I saw a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers, and thought it would work really well. The box is made from Red Bazzil cardstock. I used Nesties to cut out the two different sized shapes. I used the Happy Holiday Stamp from Outlines and stamped it on white with the blue first, then stamped slightly off-set in the red. I then edged the shape in the red ink as well and mounted it on the blue cardstock. This piece was slightly raised from the lower shape. The flowers I found at Michaels in the wedding section, and loved them. I liked this one because it was so simple, yet comes out very classy looking.
Thanks for stopping by.
