Donald is Late

As I mentioned in my last post, it was a really crazy week at work.  Unfortunately I missed a co-workers birthday. So, I made this card a bit late.  I downloaded a coloring page from the web (Google Images). Colored it with Copics B12, 14, 16, 18 for the Blue, the yellow is Y15 and 17. The orange I added a bit of YR17.  The red is R24, 27. The White of his feathers isC00, with B0000. I added a touch of BG0000 to his eyes. The wood is E13, 15 and 17.

The inside of the card reads: "OK, so this card is late Landing on your mat But the others were bought in a shop How difficult is that?"

Once I had the image colored, I cut it out with the second from the largest Octagon Nestie. With it still in the Nestie, I sponged Brilliance Blue ink lightly around the inner edge.
The larger Octagon was used to cut the red out. I have no idea where this cardstock was from... It was a scrap that I have had for a LONG time.  I also used the Fancy Tag cut to cut the edges out on the bottom and taped them to the edge of the sentiment (Daisy Bucket stamp).

Once I had everything mounted on the black cardstock, I scored the top fold. Then I trimmed out around the rest of it to make a shaped cake.  The final touch was some silver half ball bling added to the card.

I love the way that it turned out!

Thanks for stopping By. Hopw you come back soon.
