I was thrilled a few weeks ago when I was asked to participate as a Guest Designer for Kenny K Krafty Girlz Challenge. I LOVE the images produced and the chance to work with the amazingly talented Design Team and have my work shown with theirs is extremely exciting for me.

The challenge this week is White on White. WOW. That was a little intimidating. But a HECK of a lot of fun!!!

I printed out Club Kid on Hammermill 80 lb paper. I colored her up with my Copics. (colors below). I tried to color her up lightly and make it look like she had predominantly white on, while still being colored.  Once she was colored up, I cut her out and mounted her on the card base. I used the base layer, layered that with another piece of the same white cardstock that I used my MS scoreboard and made lines on about 1/4 inch from the edges. I cut a slightly smaller piece of cardstock and embossed that through the Cuttlebug, and then I cut out one of the new fancy tags from spellbinders and that is the top layer. Each one of these is spritzed with Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist.

I topped it off with the ribbon and the pearls to bling it up.

I started out coloring her face with E0000, E000, E00 and E01 with R20 used to blush her up.

The "whites" of her hair, and clothing is B0000, B000, B00.  I also went over it a great deal with the  Colorless blender. I only did the outside edges of the areas I wanted to color.  I did not fill in everything, leaving some spots open.  I colored her shoestrings and tie and belt with BV00, BV01, BV02, BV04. I also used this to color her eyes and her eyeshadow. When I was done I went over several areas - her tie, eyeshadow, jewelry with clear spica. I then took a very very fine paintbrush and touched it up with Copic White - the collar, the glints on her eyes, some places in her hair and the rips in her jeans. You can see the copic white in a few places of her hair and her collar on the close up picture.
Now, check on out the challenge over at Kenny K brought to you this week by Team A. You do not need to use a Kenny K image to enter the challenge, but if you do use one and are randomly selected as our winner, you will receive a really cool prize pacakge.

Thank you for taking a gander at my creation and THANK YOU to Donna and the lovely ladies at Kenny K for including me as a Guest Designer this week for you!!!
