Bombshell Blog Hop!!!

It is Blog Hop time over at Bombshell Stamps If you arrived from Kelli's blog you are on the right track, and if not, then head on over to the Bombshell Stamps blog  to start your journey off. This month Ms. Alison chose a Color challenge with a pallete of oranges (shudder says the Aggie) and a touch of blue that she found on

She asked that we use at least 3 of the colors shown above. I tried to take it a step farther because I am a suck up. HEE HEE.

I used Y21 and BG11 and airbrushed the background. I colored the yellow and oranges of the butterflies from Butterfly Queen. I used all sorts of copic colors to get the different shades (see below) The sentiment is from the Banner Sayings set. Once I was done, I fussy cut them out and placed them in crazy places on the card to look like the leaves in the inspiration picture. Because tha antennae were a little to difficult to cut, I drew them in. I used redline tape on their bodies and then I used foam dots of different thicknesses on the different butterflies to make their wings raise to give it some dimension.

I made this card with a friend and co-worker in mind. I was a little late for her birthday. BAD ME!  The butterflies colored up and flying up this way for some reason reminded me of her.

Now it is time for you to hop along on your journey.
