Catching Butterflies

It was supposed to start warming up today. Yeah - they said it would be 50 today. Uh huh - right. 50 degrees my cold pattooty. It was High of 39. LIARS.

Well, I have decided to warm myself by coloring up a springy card for Kraftin Kimmies Spring Challenge this week.

Isn't she so cute? I have colored the lovely girl herself using YR000, 00, E11 and RV00. The colors of her outfit are B00,01, 02, G00, 02, RV00, 02, 04 and her hair is Y00, 02, 08.

Once she was colored, I cut her out using a Nestie, and then while she was still all nestly, I used Broken China distress inks to edge the outside of the Nestie. Bows added. Voila!!!!! Spring has sprung - on my computer screen.

So, now I am going to go crawl in my warm bed. Have a great weekend, and be crafty!

  3. Hi, Alaine! This is stunning! LOVE the Springy pastels on this fabulous creation. Mother Nature tricked us here in NM with a couple of gorgeous warm days, but now it looks like we're back to the cold again...heavy sigh. Sending you warm thoughts :)
