Yo Ho Yo Ho!

Hey there guys. Here is a card I made with the intention of sending it to my daughter who had finals last week. Sadly... I never made it to the post office, but I decided to share it here.

I used the Designed to Color Challenge for April - May as inspiration. This was a sketch challenge.

So I really loved the layout for this, but I think one of my favorite parts was the dotting technique for the background. I really enjoyed doing that, and I like that you can mix all different colors with it. It gives it a background, without making it looks too colored if you know what I mean.

You still have time to enter into the Designed to Color challenge for this month. It is being sponsored by High Hopes stamps.  Approximately 2 days and 15 hours from the time this post goes live. LOL. After that, the challenge will be speeding up a bit and will be twice a month. YAY!!!!
