Hey there guys. Here is a card I made with the intention of sending it to my daughter who had finals last week. Sadly... I never made it to the post office, but I decided to share it here.
I used the Designed to Color Challenge for April - May as inspiration. This was a sketch challenge.
So I really loved the layout for this, but I think one of my favorite parts was the dotting technique for the background. I really enjoyed doing that, and I like that you can mix all different colors with it. It gives it a background, without making it looks too colored if you know what I mean.
You still have time to enter into the Designed to Color challenge for this month. It is being sponsored by High Hopes stamps. Approximately 2 days and 15 hours from the time this post goes live. LOL. After that, the challenge will be speeding up a bit and will be twice a month. YAY!!!!

Have a great Mother's day. Yes - I made a Mothers day card, but I can't post it until I give it to my Mom... so it will have to wait for another day. :-)
Alaine, what a cute card! Love that sentiment...it's perfect for finals.
