Kenny K - Krafty Girlz Challenge

I decided to take part in Kenny K's challenge this week which was a sketch challenge.  I used Kitty Katastrophe image, and colored her with one of my favorite combination's - green and purple.

Once I colored her, I cut her out - - Probably the hardest part of the whole thing... she is so detailed.  I took the sketch they provided and remembered that I had some animal print carstock stack. The purple and green matched perfectly. I promise I did not pick the colors out based on the cardstock it just happened that way! The black in the center is an edged ribbon.

I punched out a Nestie in black and then put my cutout Kitty on it. I then used pearl lines and lined the inside of the Nestie where she didn't cross over.

I used part of a sentiment stamp and then cut it out with the same type of Nestie and then layered it.

Once I was done with the card, it seemed to be lacking something to me... so I found these flowers I had with pearls and they matched the pearls on the outline, so they went really well. I added some Prima purple roses, and voila. DONE.

The colors I used on her were V12, 15, 17 and YG03, 05, 06 and 25. Her skin is E000, E00, E01 with some R20. All the Black is from the C03, 05, 07 family. The gold is a touch of gold Spica.

She was REALLY so much fun to color.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you come back again soon!
