Wow - second card for the day. I did this specifically to enter into a challenge called Raise the Bar. It was a challenge to make a card for Lei Day. I have a Bombshell called Hula Girl that I rarely use, and thought - this was perfect to bring her out and dust her off, and color her up.
I took my own advice from below and actually picked the paper first... and then made the copics match it. Her skin is E00, 11, 13, and her bikini is BG01, 02, 05, 07. Her grass skirt is YG 61, 63, 67 and then I went over it with YG11 to brighten it up a bit. Her hair is E25, 27, 29, 49 and her lei and flowers are RV63, 66. The flowers WERE white... I sprayed them with the RV66, and love how they turned out.
The paper was DCWV, and worked really well - That is one piece of paper, with white strips that I printed on the computer on the top and bottom. So it was a very CAS card. I popped her upto make her stand out a bit more.
Thank you for stopping by my blog again. I am so glad you came by, and hope to see you again!
Totally gorgeous card. Beautifully colored and designed.

ReplyDeleteWoot woooo! (<---my whistle!) She is so pretty! I love the sophisticated hula image, she is just perfect. I love your color palette and coloring, and your choice of papers is perfect. It compliments the image and doesn't compete with it. Thank you so much for joining in on our RTB Challenge this week!
